Many believe the name on the door defines an agency. For forty-four years, the name on the door of our agency has been the founder’s. But anyone who ever walked through those doors—Pat included—knew the most important name in the building has always been yours.

For thirty-four years—exactly 414 months—you haven’t just witnessed our history; you’ve written it. For 24 of those years you were side-by-side with Pat, acting as the ever-present gut checker, the gatekeeper of the vision, and the steady hand behind the scenes of our most legendary days and pitches. You’ve lived through six building moves and eight logo redesigns, and so many more chapters in our story. Yet you’ve remained the one constant through every evolution we’ve ever had.

Your legacy isn’t just in the work, though there are too many midnight pitch decks to count. It’s in the people. It’s the “Runkel Rule” that gives us our birthdays off. It’s the meticulous care you put into every legendary State of the Agency meeting. It’s the way you remember a client’s favorite drink from a decade ago, stay on the phone to make sure we get home safe from a late flight, or how you make sure a teammate gets home in time for their kid’s soccer game. You held us to a level of excellence and joy that only you could, acting as our security blanket, our rock, and our vault of wisdom.

Every single person who has walked through our doors has felt your impact. 

We know you aren’t one for a big celebration. You’d much rather be in the background, making the magic happen for someone else. But for your final week, we are making it official. We are renaming the agency Runkel.

It is a small way to honor the woman who taught us that you can be the smartest, toughest person in the room and still have the most heart. You aren’t just leaving a legacy; you’re leaving a blueprint for how this place should run.

Stacy, we thank you for your passion, your smarts, and your pixie dust. Fallon simply wouldn’t be Fallon without you. But because of you, we know exactly who we are.
