In a tiny village in the mountains of Chile, the library has caught fire. The townspeople rush to form a bucket brigade, only to find that their well is nearly dry. The village leader, a mystical old man, finds a solution. He enters the burning building and begins to scoop flames into the buckets and pass them back down the line of people toward the trickling well. The villagers join in, and the fire is quickly extinguished.
