The Fallon Broadcast Media Buyer is a key player in the development and execution of media plans for a diverse portfolio of clients. The Broadcast Media Buyer must be a master of relationships, a cutthroat negotiator, and an expert in national and local TV, radio and emerging digital video platforms. Most importantly, the Buyer must be able to see the forest for the trees, working collaboratively to ensure the broadcast buy—however unconventional—plays its part in the big picture. This position requires 5-7 years’ prior broadcast buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing creative media buys based on client needs
  • Stewarding execution of plans, goals and budgets
  • Conducting/presenting pre- and post-buy ratings analyses
  • Leading communication with clients and outside vendors to facilitate development and execution of media plans

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in broadcast media buying software (Mediaocean), and analytics (Nielsen, NPower)
