Check out local artist Thurston Johansson’s Early Triffids Series opening at CorAzoN tonight, Thursday, July 16, 5p-8p. You can view Johansson’s work while enjoying some wine and nibbles. He doesn’t have a website which means you need to see his interpretation of what a triffid is in person. If you go, you could ask if John Wyndham’s sci-fi novel The Day of the Triffids served as a source of inspiration.
The show runs through August 15.
