Who needs to travel to Los Angeles to enjoy the red carpet? Minnesota hosts the longest running officially sanctioned Oscar party, complete with an original, large-scale, gold Oscar statue and a few live Minnesotan ones. All proceeds from these Oscar parties benefit the Minnesota AIDS Project.
This year’s event was held at the famous Chambers Hotel and Gallery. The party’s guests felt like stars as they walked the red carpet upon arrival, and then enjoyed admission to the Chambers ART Room, the Burnet Gallery, the Ice Bar, and the Rooftop Lounge. With their amazing ambience, all four elegant rooms added to the experience of the evening. Guests enjoyed complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Each room housed its own super jumbo screen for perfect viewing of the 81st Annual Academy Awards.
Don’t miss your chance in 2010. To party like a movie star.
