Blankets for Kids – A Fallonthropy Project

Seven employees from Finance and Talent Resources pooled their Fallonthropy dollars together in order to purchase flannel to make tie blankets.  We got together on a Friday during the holiday season and spent the day cutting and tying over $1,500 worth of fabric that ended up being on sale for $700.  The end result was 48 blankets, ranging in size from baby to adult teen, which were then donated to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. (25th and Chicago Aves.)  This holiday season 48 youth will be receiving a warm gift as a result of the generosity of the Fallonthropy project.
