Kanter Media’s analysis lists the Cadillac ATS spot “Green Hell” as the most watched ad in U.S. history. It aired at 9:37 EST, the beginning of the two-minute warning of Super Bowl XVLI between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, a game that the Giants ended up winning 21-17.

This stunning viewership data proves that Cadillac’s big message reached the largest audience,” said General Motors Global Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick. “When it comes to Super Bowl ads, everyone has opinions on their favorites. But it’s a fact that this Cadillac spot had the biggest audience during the game.”
